Narrator

How does Fitzgerald paint Nick as a narrator? What quality (or qualities) is he given? Support your answer with the analysis of two language features that Fitzgerald uses in this passage to achieve this quality (or qualities).

Nick is presented by Fitzgerald as an un judgemental person. He does not pick up on what everyone else is thinking around him. He was taught by his dad that people have not had the same advantages he has been given which shows that nicks respects his father and what he has said. Fitzgerald present nick as someone who is going to give his opinion and no one else, no one is going to be able to cloud his judgement. Nick is very different to the other charters as he is very aware, he sees every small detail that happens in the world around him. (add language features)
