Miss Peregrine Home For Peculiar Children:

“If I show you the rest, you have to promise not to run away.” Miss Peregrines home for peculiar children directed by Tim Burton follows the story of how Jack Portman discovered that he is no ordinary child. When Jake was younger, his grandad, Abe was his best friend. Every night he would read stories to Jake about peculiar children, boys who were invisible, children with mouths on the back of their head and girls who could float. As Jake was only little he thought of them as fairy tales, stories that weren’t real, as these kinds of children did not exist in the real world. But soon come to realize how wrong he was. His granddads dying wish is for him to find a lady named Miss Peregrines. After his passing, Jake finds clues that Abe has left for him to find this lady and decides to follow them to wherever they might lead him and find out what Abe has been hiding from him all of his life.

Jake granddads dying wish was for him to find a bird in the loop, on the other side of the old man’s grave. At first, Jake is very confused, wondering why he needs to find a bird.

“Because our abilities don’t fit in the outside world, we live in places like this, where no one can find us. I knew you were one of us when you were born. It’s time for you to learn what you can do.”

“I used to dream about escaping my ordinary life, but my life was never ordinary. I had simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was. Likewise, I never imagined that home might be something I would miss.”
